The buckle features the correct pebble-grain roundel with Luftwaffe eagle and swastika, framed by the standard wreath border used on wartime Luftwaffe issue. Construction is pressed steel with an integral prong bar and twin prongs, reflecting wartime economy production that replaced earlier aluminium types. The reverse is stamped with the abbreviated maker mark Dr. F. & Co., a documented form of the Dransfeld & Co. marking used on original Luftwaffe buckles. Surface wear, oxidation, and finish loss are consistent with genuine field use and long-term age.
