1906 Landesschiessen Shooting Medal (Archduke Rainer)

Archduke Rainer Commemorative Shooting Medal was issued for the X. Mährisches Landesschiessen, the 10th Moravian Provincial Shooting Competition held in Mährisch-Ostrau from 24 June to 3 July 1906. The obverse shows a high-relief profile of Archduke Rainer of Austria, accompanied by the artist’s inscription Hans Scherpe, Wien, while the reverse carries the event title with the Austro-Hungarian imperial eagle. It is a boxed example, presented in its original red velvet-covered case.
