Austro-Hungarian Officer’S Dress Sabre – Franz Joseph I Issue

Austro-Hungarian full-dress officer’s sabre with pierced brass guard displaying the imperial double-headed eagle and crown, paired with a leather-covered scabbard fitted with decorative gilt brass mounts bearing the FJI monogram. The sharkskin grip retains most of its wire binding, and the nickel-plated blade remains bright with original polish and only minor runner marks. The hilt is structurally sound with light age patina, while the scabbard shows expected wear to the leather and light oxidation to the brass fittings.
