British-Commonwealth Wolseley Sun Helmet – Smith Products (Canada) 1942

British Wolseley pattern sun helmet manufactured in 1942 by Smith Products Ltd., Canada, featuring a swept brim, khaki cotton twill exterior, and cork and pith composite inner structure with a domed crown vent and side ventilation eyelets. The interior retains a brown leather sweatband and chinstrap system with brass fittings, and the wartime production date remains visible. The helmet shows minor exterior wear and light discoloration consistent with tropical service, while the leather sweatband is dry but intact and the chinstrap remains complete, making it a very good displayable example.
