A postwar West German Polizei (Police) officer’s visor cap made of field-grey wool with a dark green cap band and yellow piping, indicating police service. The cap features a polished black visor, silver/aluminium chin cord with green interweaving, and an insignia set comprising the West German cockade and Polizei starburst with state crest. The interior features a synthetic sweatband and a clear diamond-shaped sweatshield with the gold-printed ‘HH’ logo, attributed to maker Hans Hück.
