West German Police Officer’S Visor Cap – Reproduction (Schleswig-Holstein Type)

This is a reproduction of a postwar West German police officer’s peaked visor cap (Schirmmütze), designed in the style used by the state of Schleswig-Holstein. The cap mimics the original Peküro-manufactured version with a dark green wool-like exterior and silver-and-green chinstrap. It includes a reproduction silver insignia with the Schleswig-Holstein state crest and a German cockade. Marked ’57’ with a faux Peküro imprint under the celluloid diamond.
