West German Polizei Field Cap – North Rhine–Westphalia

This is an original Polizei field cap issued by the North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) police force during the Cold War era, most likely from the 1970s or 1980s. Constructed from olive-green cotton twill, the cap bears a diamond-shaped embroidered insignia with the NRW state police starburst and crowned horse crest in subdued grey. It features reinforced visor stitching, metal ventilation eyelets, and a cotton-twill interior liner with a printed size and maker mark.
