West German Polizei Officer’S Summer Visor Cap (Niedersachsen) – 1968
+ Free ShippingThis is a postwar West German Polizei (police) officer’s summer service visor cap, manufactured by Albert Kempf K.G. in Wuppertal, dated 1968. The beige/white top cover, combined with a dark blue wool band, black visor, and plastic chinstrap, is characteristic of summer uniforms worn by civil law enforcement in the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) during the Cold War period. The front displays the Niedersachsen state police badge – a radiant eight-pointed starburst with a rearing Saxon horse (Welfenross), confirming issue to the Lower Saxony state police. The interior bears the maker mark Albert Kempf K.G. along with Stirndruckfrei (forehead-pressure-free)
