WW2 German Cholm Shield – 1942 Campaign Shield

WW2 German Cholm Campaign Shield dated 1942, a pressed zinc shield showing a Wehrmacht eagle perched on an Iron Cross with swastika above the legend CHOLM 1942, intended for wear on the left uniform sleeve by means of integral reverse prongs. The obverse displays crisp detail with even toning, while the reverse prongs remain intact with natural heat coloration visible at the solder points. Condition is excellent, with sharp relief, light patina, no repairs, and reverse prongs complete and structurally sound.
