WW2 German Gebirgsjäger Edelweiss Vehicle Pendant

A German Gebirgsjäger (Mountain Troops) Edelweiss pendant, crafted in brass with a circular frame and a detailed Edelweiss flower in relief. This large-format version, measuring approximately 7-8 cm in diameter, was intended as a vehicle ornament, commemorative plaque accessory, or as a personal keepsake. The flower center retains gilded highlights, and the piece exhibits a pleasing, uniform patina consistent with its period manufacture. The Edelweiss insignia was the proud symbol of the elite mountain troops, worn on their caps and displayed on their vehicles during campaigns in Norway, the Balkans, and the Alps.
