WW2 German Heer Tropical Web Belt piece And Buckle (Afrika Korps)

Original WW2 German Heer tropical web belt piece and steel buckle set as issued to Army personnel serving in North Africa and other hot-climate theatres. The set consists of an olive/khaki woven web belt piece paired with a field-grey painted steel Heer buckle bearing the GOTT MIT UNS legend and Wehrmacht eagle within wreath. Tropical webbing was adopted to replace leather equipment in desert conditions due to heat, sand, and humidity, and this example shows correct coarse weave, hand-finished ends, and period stitching. The buckle displays correct stamped construction, crimped catch, and single-claw prong bar, with original paint loss and oxidation from field service. The belt and buckle remain together as a complete wartime-used set, retaining strong originality and untouched patina.
