WW2 Whw Munich City Shield Badge – Winter Relief 1939/40

Winterhilfswerk Munich city shield badge issued for the 1939–40 winter relief campaign, depicting the Munich coat of arms with the Münchner Kindl beneath a national eagle above a city gate, produced in pressed alloy with silvered and blackened finish. The badge shows moderate wear with well-preserved front detail, surface oxidation consistent with age, and retains an intact pin with reverse stamping C. Poellath Schrobenhausen 1939/40 clearly visible.
