WW2 German Close Combat Clasp in Bronze, manufactured in zinc with a bronze wash finish, showing the crossed bayonet and grenade motif framed by oak leaves and topped by an eagle, with the reverse retaining its original crimped-in pin, solid hinge block, and broad catch plate, clearly stamped L/58 for Rudolf Souval of Wien. The clasp shows period wear with loss to the bronze wash on raised areas, retained finish in recesses, honest oxidation on the reverse, and fully functional hardware with no repairs.
